Indigenous Skills & Employment Training Program (ISETP) mission is to improve employment skills and reduce learning gaps between St'at'imc and general Canadians. ISETP is to serve and be accountable to the St'at'imc communities by being compassionate, responsive, results-based, and a data information centre.
ISETP has a re-occurring issue with clients not being able to recognize their work and having confusion that it was being conducted by the organization that ISETP is umbrellaed under. The goal of their branding was to create a distinction between both groups, while also ensuring the connection between both was present.
The inspiration for the logo came from the host organizations logo which has an eagle, so this created a point for us to show the connection through the bird and the feathers, the feathers also have symbolism for the 6 communities that the ISETP team support in the northern St'at'imc Territory, and lastly the pictograph in the centre represent the eagle pictograph and it incorporates the aspect of teaching the next generation.
With this new branding, ISETP will bring forth a clean, energetic, and professional look to all content and be recognizable to its audience.
This project with this first nations organization has been amazing, the feedback and passion the ISETP team put into this was great and I had the pleasure of working with them, please view below the content for ISETP's new branding!
For the business cards and letterhead, we wanted to go for a bold and clean look that is distinctive from other organizations. The pattern on the business card was inspired by the eagle pictograph on the logo.
For the display ads and banners that will be used by ISETP, the theme that was chosen was the intellectual feel and professional tone. ISETP wants to be the team that the viewer trusts.
