This picture was inspired by my little cousin, she is an avid horse rider, and a inspiration to me for her determination in whatever she does.
Alongside with this information I also like to share some fun facts about horses from my community Xaxli'p First Nation
At one point Xaxli’p had approximately 300 horses in our community (my papa guessed around the 1940s and 50s). We had so many horses because they were used for everything (ex. Plowing, travelling, fishing, harvesting, etc.)

My papa said you would fit as many stwan (dried fish) as you can under your arm and travel to Douglas Lake and come back with a new horse breed.
